#iTR087 by XtetiQsoul (South Africa)

Siyabonga Ziqubu, originally from Durban in South Africa, better known by his stage name XtetiQsoul is part of the afro-house & deep house collective Iklwa Brothers that has worked majorly with international labels.

His sound has earned him credit and respect from a lot of dj’s and producers who constantly hit play on his music. This has attracted more record labels in and around the world interested in working with him.

He has recently released two hit singles, Moodswings & MelVesant – Be My Girl(XtetiQsoul Remix). and Musaria feat Saturna – Moments(XtetiQsoul Fantasy Mix), that has flooded South African radio stations and clubs with its first air play featured on Khaya FM Cafe’ Culture, hosted by the Legendary Black Coffee, who is one of his musical influences at Soulistic Music. Recently XtetiQsoul has been featured on an upcoming EP which was a remix competition by Thandi Draai titled “Down On Me” who has worked with Culoe De Song, Da Capo and Cuebur to mansion a few.

He then later gained residency on Ur Gig Guide South Africa, and got featured on one of their prominent annual All Things Good party touring the country with them and also found himself on one of the world’s largest independent electronic online music magazines The Resident Advisor (RA) featuring the likes of Raoul-K, Rocco, Vinny Da Vinci, Ralf Gum to mansion a few
All this at a fragile age are signs of a possibly great artist to follow the footsteps of those who have walked the journey of music and achieved.
